A recent XKCD reminded me how awesome the movie Primer is. It's here, bottom right. Definitely a top 25 XKCD in my books.
The movie Primer is fantastic. I watched it a few years ago, after a heavy recommendation by one of my more interesting coworkers.
The movie is about accidentally discovering time travel. You absolutely have to watch it twice. I'm unsure why I don't own this on DVD.
It was made with $7000 dollars and a crew of 5. The details of production fascinate me (lighting, etc.) I thought it was kinda funny that it cost $30,000 to transfer the video to a format that could be shown in theaters.
