Winter city bike rides are interesting because, of course, there are no bike trails. With that loss comes the gain of crazy super-thin trails where people trudge paths through the snow on foot. These are always uneven, and if you fail to stay on the ten-inch-wide path, your front wheel digs into the deep snow, and you're overboard.
This was my second bike ride since breaking my arm in late summer. I can't quite straighten it all the way at the elbow, so it pairs up nicely with the opposite wrist which can't quite bend all the way.
